Symphony Math is proven to raise math ability by helping students master the most important concepts in mathematics. When your student completes our program, they will be prepared for success in all levels of math.

Symphony Math can be accessed on a web browser, or installed as a free app on an Apple iPad.

Headsets are recommended for all versions.

Tips for Success

1. Access the program at www.mysymphonymath.com

2. Enter 6490 as the Account Number and the student username and password emailed to you. The student will start with an assessment at first login. Avoid helping the student for accurate placement.

3. Consistent, Short Sessions
   Throughout Symphony Math, students are constantly challenged to demonstrate their mastery by constructing models, building number sentences from story problems, and building fluency in their basic facts. It’s hard work, and students must use the program consistently to expect results. We recommend 15 minute sessions, 3-4 times per week.

4. Help By Asking Questions
   Symphony Math adapts the pace of instruction based on student performance. Instead of giving answers, try these strategies: Use the 'speaker' button to repeat the instructions. Use the '?' button to see an example of a similar task being completed. Ask your student "What do you see? What do you think the program is asking you?

5. Use Math Journals
   Each 'Stage' of Symphony Math ends with a Checkpoint. The Checkpoint encourages students to draw and recreate math models on paper, and create their own math story problems. Have your student show you their journal and describe their work before they move to a new Stage.
